Stephen DiClemente
Stephen DiClemente is a criminal defense lawyer. He graduated in 2013 from the University of Windsor Law School and University of Detroit Mercy Law School.
Since 2014 Stephen DiClemente's practice has been largely restricted to the defence of criminal and regulatory offences. He has continuously been held in Good Standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is a member of The Advocate’s Society and The Criminal Lawyer’s Association. He is also an alumni from the University of Windsor Law and University of Detroit Mercy Law.

He has argued criminal cases all across Ontario; he has conducted trials at all Court levels and in multiple jurisdictions. Knowledge—Mr. DiClemente majored in Criminology and earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours (B.A.Hons.) at York University. During law school, Mr. DiClemente focused on developing his knowledge of criminal law through participation in Criminal Law Clinics and Advocacy Competitions. He obtained two Juris Doctor (J.D.) degrees from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy.
Experience – Prior to founding SMDC Law, Mr. DiClemente completed his articles with two prominent criminal defence lawyers in Toronto, Philip Klumak and Juan Lopez. Mr. DiClemente has since represented and assisted clients charged with all types of criminal offences, from thefts to murder, in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
The SMDC Law office is located near the corner of Yonge and St. Clair Ave West, but practices throughout Southern Ontario including but not limited to:Barrie, Newmarket, North York, Toronto, Scarborough, Brampton, Hamilton, Burlington, Milton, Oshawa, London.
